Norfolk Southern’s P90 returns from phosphate mine. It stops and drops a string of cars down the hill in Porter. As the train advances, a black bear cub comes from the woods on the right and crosses the tracks to the left. If you look just before the cub and in the distance, you may see a deer going in the opposite direction. This was late afternoon on November 23.
