Norfolk Southern’s #34 Geometry Train is a rebuilt 1965 Norfolk & Western EMD SD35. Today it carries a train-load of modern electronic equipment that measures the exact positions, angles, bumps, curves, and level of every foot of rail over which it rolls. On this day, it is returning to Selam after making a round trip from Selma to Morehead City. It is here crossing the Trent River.It was shot September 3, 2020.
