Kitty spotted this gray treefrog on one of our recent walks. He was sleepy enough, or thought he was invisible enough, to make a nice model. There are two species of gray treefrog which cannot be told apart except by their call or chromosome count or microscopic examination of a cell of their nictitating membrane.
