The track on the rail line between Chocowinity and Aurora was replaced last year after an early 2019 derailment. We’ve had lots of stills and videos of the work since I get a little manic about such things-yes, it’s pretty close to a circus train. Here is the machine that throws trash and excess ballast out of the way before the machines need to slide track around on the ties.
