North Carolina’s Outer Banks are the end of the USA when you look at them on the map. BUT, when you are actually there, there’s too busy there to seem like the end of anything. I feel the end of the world at the edges of places like Pamlico County and Hyde County - places where you don’t even use any name more specific than the county name, often because there is no other recognizable name. Here’s one afternoon of tooling around the corners of Pamlico County.
